Boat Ramps Daily Access & Parking

If you are visiting Lanier Islands with a boat in tow, you can easily access Lake Lanier using either of our boat ramps. The Big Creek Boat Ramp is located off Lanier Islands Parkway at Big Creek Road, and the Lanier Islands Boat Ramp is located near the entrance of Lanier Islands. Parking at the boat ramp lots is $20 per day, payable by credit card ONLY via self-service kiosk. Your daily parking receipt must be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle. Rates are based on one-vehicle units: automobile, trailer, or automobile with trailer. No overnight parking. Ramps are generally open year-round but may close due to low water levels.

Annual Boat Ramp Pass

Go boating on Lake Lanier year-round. Our Annual Boat Ramp Pass includes an entry keycard which allows access to either of our boat ramps. The Big Creek Boat Ramp is located off Lanier Islands Parkway at Big Creek Road, and the Lanier Islands Boat Ramp is located near the entrance of Lanier Islands.
