Firepits

Nothing warms the soul like a crackling fire pit and a gorgeous view of the stars. Cozy up next to the Legacy Lodge fire pit overlooking Lake Lanier and Legacy Pool. Bullfrogs has Smores kits available year-round if you are in the mood for a warm, sweet treat. If the pits are not lit, simply visit the front desk and they will assist.

Heated Pool

The expansive saltwater pool is a refreshing luxury after a long day exploring Lake Lanier, golfing, or playing at the water park. Grab a hand-crafted cocktail from Bullfrog’s convenient poolside service window, then stretch out on a lounge chair or relax in the calming waters. The saltwater lounging pool is an exclusive amenity for guests of the Legacy Lodge, Legacy Villas, and the LakeHouses at Legacy.

Pool Hours: Open 24 hrs, 7 days a week and year-round.

Towels are provided for pool use only. Pool towels must remain in pool area and are not for use at the beach or water park.

History

The year 1962 marked a pivotal moment when the splendor and promise of four partially flooded mountaintops on Lake Lanier were recognized. Thus, the Lake Lanier Islands Development Authority (LLIDA) came into existence, spearheading the transformation of Lanier Islands into the extraordinary recreational haven it is today. By 1969, the iconic bridge to Lake Lanier Islands Resort was completed, while the '70s witnessed significant infrastructure development, shaping the resort into the remarkable destination it has become.

Transportation

Trolley

Hop on board our complimentary trolley to get you easily to your next stop around the resort. The trolley makes stops at Legacy Lodge, Legacy LakeHouses, the Margaritaville RV Resort, our newest entertainment venue Game Changer & the water park/snow park (when in season) at Margaritaville.

Trolley Available Thursday-Saturday for overnight guests. (Schedule will change seasonally).

Large Groups please contact your Sales Manager for information on Trolley rental for event transportation.

VIP Tours & Shuttle Service

Our shuttle bus provides VIP tours and transportation services around the Islands with seating for up 13 passengers. We also offer transportation services around the Islands in our large passenger vans with seating for up to 10 people and minivans with seating for up to 6 people.
