RESORT POLICIES
Cancellation Policy: Individual reservation(s) must be cancelled or modified no later than 4:00 PM, 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation penalty of 50% of the reservation. For reservations booked less than 72 hours prior to arrival, the cancellation penalty is in immediate effect. Certain offers may have a different cancellation policy and will be subject to the terms outlined in the rate description provided at time of booking. Special events and group cancellation policies may vary according to the terms in the agreement.
Deposit Policy: Individual reservations will be charged a deposit of 50% of the reservation 72 hours prior to arrival. The deposit becomes non-refundable once the reservation is subject to the cancellation terms outline above. Rates subject to different policies will have the terms outlined in the rate description provided at the time of booking. Special event and group deposit policies may vary according to the terms outlined in the contract.
Front Gate/Parking Fee: There is a daily $20 gate fee for all vehicles entering the resort. The revenue generated is reinvested back into the upkeep of roads and sidewalks. For overnight guests, one car is included with your reservation. Additional vehicles will be required to pay the $20 fee. For guests attending events, weddings, group meetings and resort events such as Easter, Mother’s Day and Thanksgiving Brunch, the fee is included.
Resort Fee: The nightly resort fee provides our overnight guests with complimentary WiFi, access to Fitness Center and Heated Salt Water Pool, Parking, Shuttle on the resort (subject to availability), miles of paved and unpaved walking and biking trails, in-room coffee, practice with a Free bag of Range balls at the golf course, Waived Beach Pass/Cover Charge to Margaritaville special events, and Daily newspaper and bottled water, available in the Hotel Lobby.
No firearms: It is the policy of the resort to not allow firearms or other weapons on property
Island transportation: Shuttles are available on a complementary basis. Subject to availability.
Pet Policy: Lanier Islands is a pet-friendly resort. Our Lakehouses and Lodge Rooms on the first floor both allow dogs up to 75 lbs. (max two). Please note, there is a $100 non-refundable pet fee, per pet and per stay. Service animals are not pets and not subject to the pet fee. All pets should be crated when unattended; please note that uncrated dogs left unattended may result in your room not being serviced.
Smoking Policy: All of the resort’s accommodations are smoke-free.Any evidence of smoking in the guest rooms, including odor, will result in a $200 cleaning fee added to bill.

At Lanier Islands (“Hotel”), the privacy and confidentiality of user information is important. We are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your user information. We may update this policy from time to time, so please check here frequently. Hotel will not disclose identifiable user information to any third party without consent.
Hotel is committed to safeguarding your privacy while visiting the Hotel website, namely, www.lanierislands.com (hereinafter all identified URLs are collectively referred to as the "Site"). Our goal is to provide you with an Internet experience that delivers the information, resources and services that are most relevant to you. To achieve this goal, part of the operation of the Site includes the gathering of certain types of information about Site users.
Because we understand that your privacy is important, we wish to explain the types of information we gather and the way in which we use it. This Privacy Policy applies to the Site.

What information is collected about you? How do we use it?
We take the utmost care to ensure that the personal information we obtain from you is not used in a way that you may be unaware of or not agreeable to. You may wish to submit an information request about our Hotel, participate in one of our promotions or subscribe to our e-mail or postal mail lists. In response, we may ask for information such as your name and postal address. In the event you opt to provide us with this information, we will only use it for the purpose specified by you at the bottom of the information gathering form.

Secure Reservations
If you decide to make an online reservation at the Site, you will be linked to a reservation interface and a third party booking engine (“Booking Engine”) provided by Synxis. While it appears to be part of our site, the Booking Engine is in fact provided by a third party and is governed by its privacy practices. We understand that security remains the primary concern of online consumers and have chosen the Booking Engine Vendor carefully.
Protecting your information
We would like our Site visitors to feel confident about using the Site to plan and purchase their accommodations, so Hotel is committed to protecting the information we collect. Hotel has implemented a security program to keep information that is stored in our systems protected from unauthorized access.
Our Site is hosted in a secure environment. The Site servers/systems are configured with data encryption, or scrambling, technologies, and industry-standard firewalls. When you enter personal information during the reservation process, or during a customer email sign-up, your data is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure safe transmission.
Withdrawing Consent to Use
If, after permitting use of your personal information, you later decide that you no longer want Hotel to include you on its mailing list or otherwise contact you or use your personal information in the manner disclosed in this Privacy Policy or at the Site, simply tell us by sending an e-mail, or by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of our email communication to you.
Use of Aggregated Data
Hotel is interested in improving the Site and may develop and offer new features and services. We monitor aggregated data regarding use of the Site for marketing purposes and to study, improve and promote use of the Site. In connection with such purposes, Hotel may share aggregated data with third parties collectively and in an anonymous way. Disclosure of aggregated data does not reveal personal information about individual Site users in any way that identifies who they are or how to contact them.
Exceptions to the Privacy Policy
Hotel has two exceptions to these limits on the use of personal information:
- Hotel may monitor and, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required, disclose information to protect the security, property, assets and/or rights of Hotel from unauthorized use, or misuse, of the Site or anything found at the Site.
- Hotel may disclose information when required by law; however, only to the extent necessary and in a manner that seeks to maintain the privacy of the individual.

Hotel specifically requests that persons under the age of 18 not use this Site or submit or post information to the Site.
