  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in: 4PM and Checkout: 11AM

    You must be 18 years old to check in

  • Is the resort pet-friendly?

    Yes! As long as your pet is under 75 lbs., he/she can enjoy much of our 1,200-acre playground for the spirit with you. There is a two-pet maximum and a fee of $100 per pet. Please make sure to clean up after your pet(s) and keep them on a leash in the designated pet-friendly areas of the property, including walking trails, a portion of LandShark beach, Margaritaville RV Resort, Shoal Creek Campgrounds, on standard pontoon boat rentals, and in rooms at the Legacy Lodge or the LakeHouses at Legacy. Registered guide dogs or other service animals are not subject to the pet fee.

  • Is there rollaway beds available?

    Yes, we do have limited number of twin-sized rollaway beds available for use in our Lodge King, King Accessible, and Deluxe Suite Rooms only. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis and have a rental fee of $30 per night. Rollaways are not available in our Double Queen Lodge Rooms, Villas or LakeHouses due to room size and accessibility constraints.

  • What is the resort fee?

    The resort fee is posted per room, per night, and is not included in the nightly rate. For transient guests, the current resort fee is $35 per room, per night. Group resort fees may vary based on their contract, and in some cases, the fee may be waived per contractual agreement.

    This fee provides access to a variety of resort amenities and services, including WiFi, access to the Fitness Center, scheduled yoga/aerobics classes, pickleball courts & equipment, heated saltwater lounging pool, use of outdoor firepits, parking, on-property resort shuttle (subject to availability), miles of paved and unpaved walking and biking trails, waived beach pass/cover charge to Margaritaville special events, daily newspaper, and a welcome beverage at Game Changer.

  • Does the resort supply beach or pool towels?

    For overnight guests utilizing the pool at Legacy Lodge, pool towels are provided for pool use only. For guests visiting the beach or water park, please bring your personal towels for use. Pool towels provided at the Lodge must be returned before leaving the pool area. Towels are not provided for use at the beach or water park.

  • Do you have discounts for Military and First Responders?

    Military and First Responder discounts are available at Legacy Lodge based on availability. Certain blackout dates apply.

  • Can I arrive by boat?

    Yes, there is a courtesy dock located behind Legacy Lodge. The coordinates are 34°11'12.7"N 84°01'10.1"W.

    We also have a dock located next to Game Changer. The coordinates are 34°10'53.5"N 84°01'43.4"W

  • How do I buy water park or snow park tickets?

    The water park and snow park are managed and operated by Margaritaville at Lanier Islands. You can purchase tickets on line via their website or you can purchase tickets at the payment kiosks at the park entrances.

  • Is valet parking available?

    Yes, valet parking is available for a $10 daily fee and a $20 nightly fee, staffed from 6 AM to 11 PM, with overnight parking handled by our night audit team.

  • Is there electric vehicle (EV) charging available?

    Yes. The Lodge offers 10 electric vehicle charging stations located in the Valet area. New Tesla chargers are available for guest use; standard Tesla charging rates apply.

  • Is airport transportation available?

    Yes. We partner with third-party transportation providers including Strictly Business, Ayus Limousine Service, Georgia Limousine, Uber, and Lyft. Rates vary by company, with private sedan service averaging between $160 and $250. Bus transportation is also available through Strictly Business, with rates depending on the size of the vehicle.

  • What is the deposit policy?

    Currently, the only rate that requires a deposit is our Book Early and Save rate, which is fully pre-paid and non-refundable. At times, other pre-paid, non-refundable rate plans may also be offered.

  • Does Lanier Islands Resort have a loyalty program?

    Lanier Islands Resort participates in the Stash Rewards program, which lets guests earn points on every stay, dining experience, and activity. Points can be redeemed for discounts, exclusive offers, and unique experiences at the resort.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    Guests attending a meeting or event may cancel up to 48 hours before arrival at no charge.

    For individual reservations, cancellations are required at least 72 hours in advance, unless your rate specifies otherwise.

  • Is the resort accessible for guests with disabilities?

    Lanier Islands Resort is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all guests. We offer ADA-compliant rooms and accessible facilities throughout the property.   • How do I make dining reservations?

    To ensure you secure a table, especially during peak seasons or special events, we recommend making reservations in advance. You can book directly by contacting the individual restaurants, through the resort’s online reservation system when available, or by calling 678-318-2048.
