The Six is a par 3 short golf course consisting of six holes between 56 and 91 yards in distance. It is the only floodlit short course in the State of Georgia therefore reservations can be made after dark. The course has been designed to offer a fun, unique golfing experience for golfers of all skill levels and ages.
Yes, the tees and greens are artificial turf and are the same material that is used by the PGA Tour. Bounce, playability and the speed of greens are very similar to grass. Green speeds measure at 10 on the Stimpmeter, which is quite fast given the undulations of some of the greens.
The Six will open at 5PM daily with the last tee time at 9PM unless there is an event or tournament that could impact on business hours.
Reservations are not required. However, you can call the golf shop at 678-318-7861 or visit The Six page on lanierislands.com under the golf drop-down menu to check availability and let us know to expect your group’s visit.
Yes, play will be organized on a first-come, first-served basis and repeat players simply check back in with the golf shop to pay the green fee and play again. There is a 50% discount for same day repeat rounds on The Six.
One hour is the expected time allotted to complete The Six. There is no restriction on how many players can play together but 10 minutes per hole is the maximum time allotted so play is complete in one hour or less.
Adult Weekday - $25.00. Adult Weekend - $35.00. Juniors 14u Weekday - $15.00. Juniors 14u Weekend - $20.00. Group reservations can be made at $750.00 per hour which includes event space. F&B minimum for group reservations is $1,000.
Yes, post-round play at The Six is strongly encouraged. In fact, we are running a promotion in March and April for guests staying overnight at Legacy Lodge and guests playing 18-hole rounds or 9-hole rounds after 4PM. Your first round of The Six will be free!!
Absolutely. Irons and putters are available for use with a small deposit in case of damage or loss. Individual Junior ‘yard clubs’ are also available for kids that are beginners and do not have their own sets.

No, outside food and alcohol are not permitted onto the premises by law. Water and soft drinks are OK to be brought with you.
