You must be at least 42” tall to ride all of the water attractions in LanierWorld except for the FunDunker, Cat4, and the Wibit; you must be 48” to ride those attraction. In the FunZone, all children must be 48” tall and under- NO Exceptions.
Beach equipment: Although we have umbrellas for rent, you are encouraged to bring your own, as our rental supplies are limited. For your convenience, many beach necessities for sale at our gift shops. Food/Beverages: We are here to cater for all your food and beverage needs, however, guests are allowed to bring one (1) individual-sized dry snack, and one (1) unopened bottle of water per guest. Large bags of food, or coolers are not allowed. Medical supplies: If a guest requires a cooler for medical reasons (special diet, insulin, etc.) inform our staff at the LanierWorld’s gate to be escorted to First Aid for a medical cooler.
We do have lounge chairs and sand chairs available first come, first serve at no charge. Keep in mind on busy days guests may want to bring in their own chairs.
The large umbrellas located throughout the park are available on a first come, first served basis. However, we also have smaller umbrellas and cabanas available for rent at our beach rentals location.
Chairs and lounges are available on a first come first served basis. You are welcomed to bring in your own chairs.
You may bring you own tent or canopy to use on the beach if it is unobtrusive to other guests.
Yes, courtesy life jackets are provided next to the wave pool and the Kiddie Lagoon. They are first come first served.
Yes. Your LanierWorld admission is valid for remainder of the day after you enter. To reenter and utilize the attractions, keep your wristband on for the duration of the day.
Wristbands not being worn are not valid for use. Removed, altered, or destroyed wristbands will not be replaced.
Your parking is also valid for the entire day. If you leave the resort and wish to reenter, you must present your original parking receipt or parking pass to the attendant at the gate.
We have a total of 9 slides and 8 attractions. Information for each attraction can be found under each area of the park – Family Fun Park, Big Beach, Boardwalk, and Sunset Cove.
All of the slides that require tubes do provide them. Tubes are also available to rent if you’d like to keep a tube with you all day. The tubes provided at attractions are subject to availability, so renting a tube would avoid waiting for one.
Single tubes are $7 and double tubes are $10. There is also a $1 deposit on each tube, which will be refunded when the tube is returned.
Personal tubes and flotation devices may only be used in the lake. They may not be used in the wave pool or on any of the slides.
Yes, we have an ATM available inside Sunset Cove Restaurant.
We have two bathhouses – one located by the wave pool and the other on the beach next to Gianni’s.
We have lockers in two locations – one next to the bathhouse adjacent to Gianni’s and the other next to the wave pool.
We have small lockers available in both locations for $9. We also have large lockers available next to the wave pool for $12. There is also a $3-5 deposit for each locker.

The water temperature varies with the weather, as the temperature is not regulated. The water depth varies for each attraction, varying from a few inches to eight feet for the FunDunker Drop.
Our FunZone area is designed exclusively for children under 48” tall. There are smaller slides and water attractions along with a small version of our wave pool located in this area. For safety concerns, children in this area must be less than 48” tall. Smaller children may also enjoy the use of the beach- front swim area as well as the wavepool when accompanied by an adult.
There is shuttle service for our hotel guests to various locations around the resort. For the shuttle schedule and to request service, notify an attendant at the information booth or a ticket booth.
Yes! You can enjoy a meal at various locations throughout the park from Tads, to Gianni’s Italian Bistro & Pizzeria, Boardwalk Cantina, and Sunset Cove Restaurant. We also have smaller concessions including Bucky’s Snack Shack, ICEE Oasis, SweetWater Shack, Nathan’s Hot Dog, Grilled Cheese Shoppe, Tiki Hut, and Dippin’ Dots.
Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park. Alcohol sales are located in various areas of the park including Gianni’s Italian Bistro, Sunset Cove, Tiki Hut, Dog & Draft, and Dockside Bar (located on the Boardwalk), where Frozen Drinks can be purchased. Our Family Fun Park is the only area that is alcohol-free.
Yes, strollers are welcomed in the water park. There is fun for the entire family!
Children 2 years of age and under are not required to have a ticket, as they are always free.
Cut-offs, jeans, jewelry, and shoes are not permitted on rides. Clothing with rivets or metal attachments are also not permitted. For safety reasons, some attractions do not allow for loose clothing, such as pants or t-shirts. Form-fitting rash guards are permitted.
We do not have any public telephones available for use.
Yes. First Aid is located next to Big Beach between Fast Down and Double Down attractions. It is staffed during park hours with a certified EMT.
It is recommended that an adult accompany anyone under the age of 16. After 6 p.m., an adult must accompany minors under the age of 18.
We have handicap parking available at each LanierWorld parking lot. Please note: most attractions, though, require the ascension of stairs.
It is always a good idea to have a meeting place if any members of your group get separated. If you become separated from your child, you can notify any park associate or go to the information booth on the beach near FunZone.
LanierWorld does not to issue rain checks or refunds for inclement weather. It is advisable to view the local weather forecast prior to your visit.
Outdoor attractions may be suspended in the event of heavy rain, high winds, and lightning. We will try to reopen them as soon as the weather permits. Ride and/or park closure is at the discretion of the park manager.
All ticket sales are final. All rides and attractions are subject to availability, and closures are displayed at all ticket booths. No refunds or rain checks will be given for inclement weather.
No outside food and beverage, except the one bottle of water and dry snacks will be permitted into LanierWorld. If you wish to bring a picnic lunch, you may do so; however you will need to leave it in your vehicle and enjoy it at one of the picnic tables provided in the shaded area surrounding the parking lot. Grilling is not permitted.
Every vehicle that enters Lake Lanier Islands must pay for parking, regardless of the duration of your stay.
You can view/print a map of the park from our main page, or you can obtain a copy inside the park at the ticket booths and information booth.
Smoking is permitted within designated areas only – outside the LanierWorld gates and in designated areas at Sunset Cove Restaurant.
With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted inside the park.
Lanier Islands accepts payment in the form of cash, credit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), checks (subject to approval), and traveler’s checks.
Yes. For lost and found items, see the attendant at the information booth.
LanierWorld does not have a paging/PA system.
We currently do not offer wireless internet access inside LanierWorld.
Yes! We have sunscreen available for purchase at all of our gift shops.
