1. WHAT IS THE AGE AND HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS FOR THE SLIDES?
You must be 42” tall to ride all of the water attractions in LanierWorld except for the FunDunker, you must be 48” to ride that attraction. In Kiddie Lagoon/Wiggle Waves all children must be 42” tall and under- NO Exceptions.
2. WHAT CAN I BRING TO LANIERWORLD?
At LanierWorld you are able to bring in DRY snacks (pretzels, chips, fruit snacks, etc.) and ONE unopened bottle of water per guest. These items CANNOT be kept in a cooler, only a non-insulated bag. If a guest has a medical reason (special diet, etc.) he/she will need to check in at the waterpark gate and be escorted to First Aid where they will be issued a special Medical Cooler. You are also permitted to bring in your own towels, chairs, and umbrellas as we have limited numbers to rent out. We do sell those items in the gift shop as well.
3. ARE THERE BEACH CHAIRS AT THE WATERPARK? CHARGE/FREE?
We do have lounge chairs and sand chairs available first come, first served at no charge. Keep in mind on busy days guests may want to bring in their own chairs.
4. DO YOU RENT CABANAS/UNBRELLAS?
The large umbrellas located throughout the park are available on a first come, first served basis. However, we also have smaller umbrellas and cabanas available for rent at our beach rentals location.
5. DO YOU RENT CHAIRS?
Chairs and lounges are available on a first come first served basis. You are welcomed to bring in your own chairs.
6. CAN I BRING MY OWN TENT OR CANOPY?
You may bring you own tent or canopy to use on the beach if it is unobtrusive to other guests.
7. DO YOU PROVIDE LIFE JACKETS?
Yes, courtesy life jackets are provided next to the wave pool and the Kiddie Lagoon. They are first come first served.
8. IF I EXIT THE PARK, CAN I RE-ENTER?
Yes, your parking is good for the full day. To return and utilize the attractions, keep your wristband on for the duration of the day. Wristbands not being worn are not valid for use.
9. HOW MANY SLIDES DO YOU HAVE?
We have a total of 9 slides and 8 attractions. More information can be found on our Slides and Attractions Page.
10. DO YOU PROVIDE TUBES? HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?
All of the slides that require tubes do provide them. Tubes are also available to rent if you’d like to keep a tube with you all day. The tubes provided at attractions are subject to availability, so renting a tube would avoid waiting for one. Single tubes are $7, and double tubes are $10. There is also a $1 deposit on each tube.
11. CAN I BRING MY OWN TUBE/FLOAT?
Personal tubes and flotation devices may only be used in the lake. They may not be used in the wave pool or on any of the slides.
12. DO YOU HAVE AN ATM?
Yes, we have an ATM available inside the locker room next o Gianni’s Italian Bistro.
13. DO YOU HAVE CHANGING ROOMS AND/OR LOCKERS? WHERE ARE THEY AND WHAT DO THEY COST?
We have two bathhouses – one located by the wave pool and the other on the beach next to Gianni’s. We have lockers in two locations – one next to the bathhouse adjacent to Gianni’s and the other next to the wave pool. We have small lockers available in both locations for $9. We also have large lockers available next to the wave pool for $12. There is also a $3 deposit for each locker.
14. WHAT ARE THE PARK HOURS?

15. WHAT IS THE WATER TEMPERATURE? DEPTH?
The water temperature varies with the weather, as the temperature is not regulated. The water depth varies for each attraction, varying from a few inches to eight feet for the Fundunker Drop.
16. I HAVE A SMALL CHILD, WHAT IS THERE FOR HE/SHE TO DO?
Our Kiddie Lagoon and Wiggle Waves area is designed exclusively for children under 42” tall. There are smaller slides and water attractions along with a small version of our wave pool located in this area. For safety concerns, children in this area must be less than 42” tall. Smaller children may also enjoy the use of the beach- front swim area as well as the wavepool when accompanied by an adult.
17. IS THERE A SHUTLE TO MY CAR?
There is shuttle service for our hotel guests to various locations around the resort. For the shuttle schedule and to request service, notify an attendant at the information booth or a ticket booth.
18. DO YOU SELL FOOD/DRINK INSIDE THE PARK?
Yes! You can enjoy a meal at various locations throughout the park from the Islands Grill, to Gianni’s Italian Bistro & Pizzeria, and Sunset Cove. We also have smaller concessions including Midway Treats, Wild Waves Refresher, the Tiki Hut, and Dippin’ Dots and don’t forget, Gianni’s Pizza to Go located on Big Beach.
19. WHERE CAN I BUY ALCOHOL? CAN I BRING MY OWN?
Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park. Alcohol sales are located in various areas of the park including Gianni’s Italian Bistro, Sunset Cove, Tiki Hut and also at Draft House and Frozen Drinks located on the Boardwalk next to the Ferris Wheel. Our Family Fun Park is the only area that is Alcohol free.
20. CAN I BRING A STROLLER?
Yes, strollers are welcome in the water park. There is fun for the entire family!
21. I HAVE AN INFANT; DOES HE/SHE NEED TO HAVE A TICKET?
Children 2 years of age and under are not required to have a ticket, as they are always free.
22. CAN I WEAR . . . JEANS, SHORTS, SHOES, JEWELRY, T –SHIRTS, ETC. ON THE RIDES?
Cut-offs, jeans, jewelry, and shoes are not permitted on rides. Clothing with rivets or metal attachments are also not permitted. For safety reasons, some attractions do not allow for loose clothing such as pants or t-shirts.
23. DO YOU HAVE A PUBLIC TELEPHONE?
We do not have any public telephones available for use.
24. DO YOU HAVE A FIRST AID STATION?
Yes. First Aid is located next to our Racing Waters attraction.
25. HOW OLD DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE TO GO TO THE PARK WITHOUT AN ADULT?
It is recommended that an adult accompany anyone under the age of 16. After 6 p.m., an adult must accompany minors under the age of 18.
26. IS YOUR PARK HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?
We have handicap parking available at each Beach and WaterPark parking lot. Please note: most attractions, though, require the ascension of stairs.
27. WHAT IF I GET SEPARATED FROM MY CHILD?
It is always a good idea to have a meeting place if any members of your group get separated. If you become separated from your child, you can notify any park associate or go to the information booth.
28. WHAT IS YOUR RAIN POLICY? REFUND POLICY?
LanierWorld does not to issue rain checks or refunds for inclement weather. It is advisable to view the local weather forecast prior to your visit. Outdoor attractions may be suspended in the event of heavy rain, high winds, and lightning. We will try to reopen them as soon as the weather permits. Ride and/or park closure is at the discretion of the park manager. All ticket sales are final. All rides and attractions are subject to availability, and closures are displayed at all ticket booths. No refunds or rain checks will be given for inclement weather.
29. CAN I BRING A PICNIC LUNCH TO THE WATER PARK?
No outside food and beverage, except the one bottle of water and dry snacks will be permitted into LanierWorld. If you wish to bring a picnic lunch you may do so; however you will need to leave it in your vehicle and enjoy it at one of the picnic tables provided in the shaded area surrounding the parking lot. Grilling is not permitted.
30. IF I’M DROPPING MY KIDS OFF AT THE PARK, DO I STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING?
Every vehicle that enters Lake Lanier Islands must pay for parking, regardless of the duration of your stay. However, parking is included for season pass holders from May through September.
31. IS THERE A MAP OF THE PARK?
You can view/print a map of the park from our main page, or you can obtain a copy inside the park at the ticket booths and information booth.
32. IS SMOKING PERMITTED INSIDE THE PARK?
Smoking is permitted within designated areas only – outside the LanierWorld gates and in designated areas at Sunset Cove.
33. ARE PETS ALLOWED INSIDE THE PARK?
With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted inside the park.
34. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED IN THE WATERPARK?
Lake Lanier Islands Resort accepts payment in the form of cash, credit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), checks (subject to approval), and traveler’s cheques.
35. DO YOU HAVE A LOST & FOUND?
Yes. For lost and found items, see the attendant at the information booth.
36. DO YOU HAVE A PAGING OR PA SYSTEM TO CALL SOMEONE?
LanierWorld does not have a paging system.
37. DO YOU HAVE WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS INSIDE THE WATERPARK?
We currently do not offer wireless internet access inside LanierWorld.
38. CAN I BUY SUNSCREEN A THE PARK?
Yes! We have sunscreen available for purchase at all of our gift shops.
