Big Beach at LanierWorld
Atlanta's Beach. Your Beach.
Whether you’re in the mood to relax or play at LanierWorld, Big Beach offers the best of both worlds over its spacious stretch of sparkling sand lining Lake Sidney Lanier. Stretch out and get some sun on the warm sand or cool off in the water, with lifeguards nearby making the area a safe swimming haven! There are also a number of rides and attractions you can browse below.
For the Little Ones
At Bucky's Fun Zone, your little ones will delight in the interactive play area with loads of spraying water effects and "just their size" slides.
Children must be less than 48" to play in these areas.
Lounge with your favorite book and a refreshing drink from the Tiki Hut or catch a live performance on the floating stage. And of course, build the ultimate sand castle! Then, head in for a swim in our lifeguarded swim area.
Climb, jump, bounce, and slide on our brand new floating playground! The Wibit is an aquatic adventure that offers extraordinary excitement in an awesome environment! Conquer the Lake's newest challenge when you visit Big Beach!
NEW for 2015: we have more than doubled the size of The Wibit so you can play and bounce even more atop the waters of Lake Lanier.
On your mark, get set, GO! Race your opponent to the bottom of Racing Waters: a super-fast, dual-flumed fiberglass body slide. On Splashdown, you’ll be assured a “splashing” good time on this two-flume mat slide. Riders slide down head first on a toboggan-style mat. Kids and Adults alike will delight in Blackout, a short, but fast, body slide into total darkness.
Riders must be 42" tall for these rides.
