Engineering

Engineer - Hotel

Provides a diverse range of duties involved in guest related maintenance issues and day-to-day operations of the resort. Will be responsible to complete repairs to guest rooms, facilities, and other resort related equipment. Basic maintenance, repair, of plumbing systems. Conduct electrical maintenance, repair and install electrical equipment and systems throughout the resort to ensure safe and proper operation. Set-up Supervisor (PM)

Coordinates set-up and break-down of functions, weddings, conferences and their functions island-wide. Previous experience in wedding set-up is a plus, must have supervisory skills, great communication and excellent guest service skills. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60+ lbs. Assistant Banquet Manager

Responsible for the supervision of the banquet service staff, bartenders and set-up staff. Responsible to maintain a very organized job environment. Wastewater Treatment Plant

Treatment Operator

Under general supervision, performs technical work; performing preventive maintenance and reading various gauges and meters, collecting lab samples, and performing required analysis and tests. Requires working in varying temperatures. Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time. Must have flexibility with repetitive hand movements. Cold Prep Cook

Previous experience required. Ability to prepare all the components of cold appetizers, ranging from salads to cheese plates and present them wonderfully. Supervisor

Help oversee the day-to-day operation of Bullfrogs.  Serve guest in Bullfrogs in a professional and friendly manner while attending to their needs promptly and courteously to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist with Budget, accounting, operating procedures, rules and regulations, and overseeing the server staff. Attend to guest at their table or the counter, informing them of daily specials, taking orders, serving food, clearing tables and preparing their bill. Islands Clean-up Attendant

Responsible for general clean-up of the Resort both inside and outside of the grounds. Responsibilities to include: cleaning of offices throughout the resort, cleaning of restrooms, stocking of supplies, cleaning walks and cleaning of grounds, pavilions and the roadways of the islands. Weddings Guest Service Agent

The role of the Wedding Guest Service Agent is to support and assist the Wedding/Social Catering department in managing day-to-day functions by performing administrative and office support activities for multiple Managers. This professional will be required to play an organizing role in the workplace, which includes fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, managing workflow, monitoring progress and maintaining momentum for specific projects.

Weddings Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator will implement the Company’s Social Media Strategy concerning Weddings; develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and encourage lead generation. This role coordinates with the internal Marketing, PR & Wedding Sales Teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in branding and cultivating a social media referral network.

Director Of Purchasing

The Director of Purchasing coordinates and manages all purchasing and supply functions to ensure the success and profitability of the resort. Establishes and manages all systems for procurement including e-procurement, bid solicitation, price auditing, sourcing, inventory control, and standard purchase specifications and contract negotiations. Provides administrative oversight of the employees of the Purchasing Department including hiring, scheduling, training and corrective action.

Recreation

Floating Recreation Manager

Will be responsible to cover all recreational areas of the resort as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, Equestrian Center, Harbor, Lanier World and Security. Must have previous Supervisory experience in a Resort or Entertainment Venue setting. Stewarding

Stewarding Supervisor

Directly supervise all associates of the stewarding department ensuring the highest levels of efficiency, cleanliness, organization and service in day-to-day operations. Barista (Coffee Attendant)

Bartender

Must be at least 21 years of age with previous bartending experience in a fast paced full-service restaurant and work well under pressure. Basic mathematics and POS systems knowledge. Great guest service, cleanliness and organizational skills, must be reliable and dependable and have excellent interpersonal skills. Must have flexible schedule availability as shift times vary, weekends and holidays availability is required. Approx. employment months: March - October.

Cook

Previous fast food operation or short order cook 1+ years experience. Able to work outdoors in summer elements and work well with others. Must have great communication, organizational and cleanliness skills. Must be available weekends and holidays.

Concessions Supervisor

Previous F&B experience along with supervisory skills to include training, scheduling and over seeing a fast-paced environment. Must have great organizational and cleanliness skills. F&B Attendant

Must have a friendly, out-going demeanor, ability to greet guest in professional manner; exceptional customer service experience is required. Lanier World/Sunset Cove

Dock/Beach Attendant

Previous boating skills/knowledge and experience highly preferred. Must be able to work outdoors, exposed to summer weather elements and able to stand/walk for long periods of time and ability to swim. Responsible for guests' boats and enforcing LLIR/LW policies, providing exceptional customer service. Other duties include docks and other areas within Sunset Cove. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Available all weekends and holidays.

SunSet Cove Area Supervisor

Assists with the overall operation of the SunSet Cove recreational area of the waterpark. Will be responsible for oversight of set-up for any event or operation of events in assigned area. Must be able to supervise, schedule, train staff of 25+ Dock/Beach Attendants. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs, able to stand, walk for long periods and able to work outdoors. Previous supervisory experience needed along with exceptional guest service skills. Available all days and shifts, must have a flexible schedule hours vary 7 a.m. - 1 a.m. Must be able to drive; valid driver license with good driving history.

Common Area Attendant

Duties include keeping public restrooms clean and stocked. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs and work in outdoor elements. At least 18 years of age preferred. Available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Approx duration of employment: Apr - Oct

Golf Course Maintenance

Equipment Operator

Previous golf maintenance (Turf Grass) experience preferred, must perform a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance (mowing, raking bunkers, fly mowing, edging, sweeping, hauling plant material, etc.), mainly semiskilled ground construction (remove/lay sod, seeding, fertilizing, etc.), preparation and maintenance work. Will assist with construction projects requiring manual labor. Must have a valid driver's license with good driving history. Able to operate powered mowing equipment, hand tools and complete daily manual labor, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Some weekends are required. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.

BullFrogs Bar & Grille

Steward (dishwasher)

Properly clean dishes and return to correct place in restaurant. Take out trash, sweep and mop floors. Must have cleanliness and organizational skills, previous dishwasher experience preferred. Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Available to work weekends and holidays.

Server Assistant (Busser)

Responsible to maintain table cleanliness. Assist the Servers with pre-bussing, drink refills, delivering food, cleaning and re-setting tables. Available to work all days/shifts, able to work weekends and holidays. Some heavy lifting/carrying required up to 75 lbs.

Server

Previous full-service restaurant experience, must be friendly and have organizational and cleanliness skills. Available to work long hours, weekends and holidays. PBX/Phone Operator

Ability to answer and extend all incoming calls courteously and efficiently. Maintain a high standard of service and hospitality at all times by answering each call with the proper greeting. Must have phone etiquette skills, great communication skills and previous experience handling multi-line phone system. Will be trained on how to take reservations to assist the Reservations dept when needed. Available all shifts, weekends and holidays availability required.

Concierge

Provide Exceptional guest service responding to all group and fit guest needs promptly and courteously. Be knowledgeable about all Front Office and Guest Services standard operating procedures. Maintain good working relationships and open lines of communication with all departments. Maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any problems or complaints are handled quickly, efficiently and courteously. Extensive Guest Services experience required. Weekend and Holiday availability required

Front Desk Agent

Must have excellent communication and guest service skills. Previous experience with check-in/out, cash handling and billing procedures. Must be willing to cross-train in other areas of the Front Office, ability to stand for long periods of time. Previous OPERA knowledge preferred. Available weekends and holidays.

Reservations Agent

Must have excellent communication, phone etiquette and guest service skills. Previous OPERA knowledge highly preferred with experience in making reservations and staying well informed of all resort amenities, must have organizational and time management skills.  Must be willing to cross-train in other areas of the Front Office. Shift times primarily evenings and most weekends, holidays availability is required.

Bell Stand Attendant

Responsible to escort arriving and departing Guests in a friendly, courteous manner to and from their accommodations, transporting their luggage.  Acquaint each Guest with room and features. Essential Duties to include the following: Meet and greet Guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome; Retrieve Guest items from their transportation vehicle; Drive/Operate hotel vehicles; Escort Guests to accommodations, inspecting room and reporting deficiencies; Assist Concierge with Golf Cart rentals, inspections, retrieval, etc. and Deliver packages to guests from shipping/receiving department.

Harbor Landing

Dock Hand Attendant

Ability to assist in the general maintenance and up keep of the harbor boat fleet, assist guests in the operation of the boat fleet. Must be courteous, cheerful and possess effective communications skills. Have some knowledge and experience with boating in order to be effectively informative when assisting guests. Willingness to clean boats, remove trash and  maintain docks; ensure daily proper inspection of all boats for cleanliness and properly operational. Ability to work in outdoor weather and around bees; ability to lift 50lbs and ability to swim required.

Cashier

Must have excellent communication, phone etiquette and guest service skills. Prior cash handling experience, organizational and time management skills. Shift times vary, weekends and holidays availability is required.

Dock Supervisor

Supervises and assists dock attendants, reviews and completes outside checkouts with renters, ensures proper fueling of all boats, cleans all boats and participates in daily maintenance. Previous experience with boating is required in order to be able to effectively communicate proper safety procedures when assisting guests. Ability to work in outdoor weather and around bees; ability to lift 50lbs and ability to swim required. **Weekend and Holiday Availability Required **

Harbor Supervisor

Assist the Harbor Manager with daily responsibilities. Participates in all office functions, training of staff, completion of paperwork, oversight for daily maintenance, sale and promote the recreational activities of Harbor Landing and other strategic business units. Previous experience with boating is required in order to be able to effectively communicate proper safety procedures when assisting guests. Ability to work in outdoor weather and around bees; ability to lift 50lbs and ability to swim required. Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Laundry

Attendant

Must be able to operate laundry machines, previous experience preferred. Sort and treat linens, wash and dry linens, fold linens according to standard. Able to provide great customer service is required, must be available for PM shift (3 pm-11pm) to include weekends and holidays.

Commissary Cook

Responsible to prepare bulk foods and sauces for large volume dining. Previous hotel experience in prep and banquets or equivalent high volume restaurant experience. Lanier World

Admissions/Rentals Attendant

Great personality with customer service knowledge; previous cash register experience or the ability to learn. Perform duties such as ticket cashiering, ticket taking, working mini-golf and season pass center. Must be able to work in outside conditions and stand for long periods of time.

Admissions/Rentals Supervisors

Responsible for overseeing the admissions/rental staff; hiring, training and scheduling. Ensure guest service within department is exceptional. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Ability to work outdoors, exposed to summer weather elements and able to stand for long periods of time. Shift times vary, weekends and holidays required.

Auditor

Must have previous experience in high volume cash accounting situation, at minimum heavy high volume cashier experience. Attention to detail and organizational skills is a must. Ability to walk the park, assisting cashiers as needed and must have a high tolerance to outdoor weather elements and stand for long periods of time. Shift times vary, weekends and holidays required. 

Park Attendant

Responsible for directing traffic into Lanier World parking areas, locating lost children, walk-thrus within the park; checking for wristbands, providing safety for our guests. Able to report any and all concerns to management. Ability to work outdoors, exposed to summer weather elements and able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Shift times vary, weekends and holidays required.

Common Area Attendant

Responsible for the cleanliness of Lanier World public restrooms. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs and work outdoors, exposed to summer weather elements and able to stand/walk for long periods of time.

EMT

Must be licensed as an EMT or Paramedic; provide valid license. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working with a city/county Fire Dept or Ambulance Service.

Lifeguard

Must pay for and pass the Jeff Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program administered by LLI. Training and testing consists of physical and written ability and knowledge. Must be able to work outdoors, exposed to summer weather elements and able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Ability to demonstrate maturity during training, during shifts and demonstrate ability to stay calm under pressure.

Water Quality Technicians

Must have previous water quality experience or possess the ability to learn pool balancing. Must demonstrate maturity and handle chemicals as trained. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Ability to work outdoors, exposed to summer weather elements and able to stand for long periods of time. Shift times vary, weekends and holidays required.

Retail Associate

Great personality with customer service knowledge; previous cash register experience or the ability to learn. . Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Camp Counselor/Stables Attendant

Front Gate Attendant

Cook

The Legacy Kids Activities Counselors will help coordinate and execute Legacy Kids Camp Activities. Will be responsible for organizing pool activities/games, for monitoring pool area/pool chairs/pool towels and to maintain cleanliness around the pool. **Will need to be certified for CPR/First Aid/Water Safety**

Will be responsible to prepare foods such as burgers, chicken tenders and french fries using a griddle, fryer and conveyor oven. Must have good communication skills. Operate group boats and other boats as requested for guests of Lake Lanier Islands Resort. Assist dock staff with up keep on boats by informing the Harbor Manager. Must have a valid 100 Ton Masters License from USCG, previous captain experience. Great guest services experience is required.

Must have previous experience in fast paced full-service restaurants with POS systems. Cleanliness and organizational skills, reliable and dependable, great communication and interpersonal skills. Available to work all weekends and holidays. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.
