Full-Time Openings

Golf Course Maintenance

Equipment Operator

Previous golf maintenance (Turf Grass) experience preferred, must perform a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance (mowing, raking bunkers, fly mowing, edging, sweeping, hauling plant material, etc.), mainly semiskilled ground construction (remove/lay sod, seeding, fertilizing, etc.), preparation and maintenance work. Will assist with construction projects requiring manual labor. Must have a valid driver's license with good driving history. Able to operate powered mowing equipment, hand tools and complete daily manual labor, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Some weekends are required. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.


Garde Manger

Previous experience required. Knowledge of Food Safety and the ability to prepare all the components of cold appetizers, ranging from salads to cheese plates, cold Hors D'oeuvres, cold sandwiches and present them wonderfully. Excellent knife skills and should be an expert in dicing, carving and chopping; able to do simple carvings and garnishes. Work in coordination with other line cooks, be a team player. Must be well organized with great presentation and sanitation skills. Available to work weekends and holidays. Culinary graduate or apprenticeship preferred

Banquet Cook

Prepare guest food in accordance to department standards. Ability to cook using standard dry, wet and combination cooking methods; able to use all food prep equipment for cooking, preparing, slicing and mixing. Able to read follow standardized recipes, use scales, measuring cups and other portioning devices. Good math and verbal communication skills required. Able to lift 50lbs. General Maintenance

Must have previous general maintenance knowledge, skills and experience in plumbing, A/C, carpentry, mechanical and electrical. Ability to drive company vehicles; must have a valid driver's license with good driving history. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Weekend availability required.


House Person

Assist Room Attendants in the cleaning of guest rooms and hallways, able to vacuum/mop, empty trash bins, stocking/organizing storage closets, replenish linens, assist in laundry area. Must have great guest service skills. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Previous related experience/training required. Weekends and holidays availability required.

Room Attendant

Previous housekeeping experience with ability to follow housekeeping procedures clean guest rooms/houses/villas assigned and within our standards. Maintain storage areas organized. Must be able to clean and finish assigned areas within daily scheduled shift, must have great customer service skills. Available to work all shifts, to include weekends and holidays.


Engineer - Hotel

Provides a diverse range of duties involved in guest related maintenance issues and day-to-day operations of the resort. Will be responsible to complete repairs to guest rooms, facilities, and other resort related equipment. Basic maintenance, repair, of plumbing systems. Conduct electrical maintenance, repair and install electrical equipment and systems throughout the resort to ensure safe and proper operation. Monitor, maintain, repair and carry out preventative maintenance programs on resort heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Maintenance of resort pools to include chemical check. Painting knowledge/experience preferredGuest service oriented. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Weekend availability required. Flexible shift availability required.

Front Gates

Front Gate Attendant

Must have great communication skills and guest service skills. Direct guest to proper destinations. The collection and accurate reporting of fees and traffic.  Maintain effective communications with Public Safety officers and other island personnel. Maintain radio, key, dispatch logs, and incident log. Monday - Sunday availability and weekends/holidays.

Conference Services

Administrative Assistant

Answer phones and assist in the sales department with handling, processing of Banquet Event Orders. Create contracts and input into system. Assist Conference Service Managers on inquiries in their absence. Able to work well under pressure and with deadlines. Must have strong computer skills, must be proficient in Word, & Excel. Previous experience preferred.

Sidney's Restaurant


Primary responsibility to produce breakfast buffet and a'la carte items. Will assist in lunch and banquet production, cold prep and work omelet stations in Sidney's restaurant and on banquet and holiday buffets. Must be familiar with dry and moist cooking methods; presentation of hot foods. Able to read written instructions, able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Available every weekday, every shift to include weekends and holidays.

Human Resources

Recruiting / Employee Relations Manager

Will be responsible for ongoing Recruitment and Employee Relations efforts of the resort. Key duties will include pre-screen interviews of job applicants, the organization/execution of Job Fairs, building strong partnerships with local high schools/colleges, developing ongoing Employee Recognition, attending Employee Focused Luncheons and helping provide oversight for the resort's Service Hero Program.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. Must have well developed presentation and public-speaking skills, excellent planning and time-management skills with strong organizational skills. Must be clerical savvy; administrative skills required. Hospitality Experience highly preferred.

Human Resources or Management experience. Knowledge of policies and practices involved in human resources functions, including recruitment, selection and promotion regulations and procedures. Management skills required. Weekends and Evenings availability is required. 

Executive Trainer

The Executive Trainer is responsible for creating and implementing training programs and overseeing the development of careers. Sets performance metrics, evaluates productivity and helps workers create long-term career plans within an organization. This position is directly responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for all employees. The Executive Trainer will assess property-wide development needs to drive training initiatives and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.

Executive Meeting Sales Manager

You have been waiting for an opportunity - you know you can do this; but your experience on your resume says sales administrator not sales manager, your chance is now! GREAT entry level opportunity for hospitality sales. Will train right candidate. Professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication, positive nature and natural inquisitiveness a must.

Successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 1-3 years hotel group sales experience in an upscale or resort environment. Responsible for aggressively developing and heavily prospecting potential new business; ability to build long-term client relationships. Strong prospecting and closing skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, Delphi or similar hotel sales software desired. Strong organization and detailing skills. Minimum of one day outside sales calls per week. Experience in the catering and conference services market a plus. Experience with the Corporate Group Sales market preferred.

Responsible for general clean-up of the Resort both inside and outside of the grounds. Responsibilities to include: cleaning of offices throughout the resort, cleaning of restrooms, stocking of supplies, cleaning walks and cleaning of grounds, pavilions and the roadways of the islands. General pest removal which includes spraying of bees, wasps and ants. Weekend and Holiday availability is required. Must Be At Least 21 Years Of Age With a Clean Driving Record


Purchasing Agent

Works closely with various departments in sourcing products, supplies, materials and equipment; negotiates the most cost-effective purchases according to the specifications; gives advice to department heads on new trend of products and supplies; manages inventory control to meet departments' needs; and supervises the operation and all colleagues in the Purchasing and Storeroom.  The Purchasing Agent will have a deep understanding of the financial impact of Purchasing transactions and will enforce Purchasing policies and procedure. Candidates preferred with Accounting / Finance background – who fully understand the financial impact of purchasing processes, possess strong leadership skills and ability to hold others accountable, previous supervisory experience, knowledge in accounting procedures, budgeting and cost controls. Must have previous experience in obtaining price quotations for all purchases, prior experience in the daily procurement, storage and issuance of food and beverage products and operating supplies, able to effectively lead, train and direct the department’s personnel. Must have working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Agilysis experience preferred. Food & Beverage Director (Legacy Lodge)

In charge of all Food and Beverage staff at the Legacy Lodge Hotel, The Food & Beverage Director will oversee the front of house operations of each of the hotel’s two restaurants, restaurant bar, gourmet coffee shop, in-room dining service and banquets. The Food & Beverage Director ensures that all food and beverage service provided complies with Lanier Islands Resort's standards and ensures that Lanier Islands Resort's quality and financial goals are met. This position helps support the resort's overall customer service culture by being directly responsible for the resort's service recovery efforts in the Food & Beverage department. Directs, controls and develops all aspects of the hotel's Food & Beverage operation in accordance with LLI standards, policies and procedures. ** Weekend and Holiday availability is required ** Must have a valid driver's license and clean MVR for 3 years **

Part-Time Openings



Must have cleanliness and organizational skills, must be reliable and dependable. Previous experience preferred, able to work in fast-paced restaurant, work long shifts and stand for long periods of time. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Sidney's Restaurant


Ensure all guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing excellent quality service and by greeting all guests with a smile! Responsible to accurately take the guest's order, provide suggestions, serve prepared menu items and completing drink orders. Must have previous experience in upscale full-service restaurants with POS systems; MICROS preferred. Cleanliness and organizational skills, reliable and dependable, great communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs., replenish condiments as necessary and reset tables as needed.  Available to work weekends and holidays. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.


Responsible to clean tables and to ensure each table has proper utensils, glassware, etc prior to guest being seated. Assist with guest drink refills and in ensuring guest water glasses are always full. Outstanding work ethic with guest service skills, able to multi-task, assist servers as needed. Previous experience preferred; must have cleanliness skills. Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.  Some heavy lifting/carrying required up to 75 lbs.

Prep Cook

Will assist in the production of Windows and Banquet buffet foods. Focus on proper presentation, garnishing and freshness. Assist in daily buffet by working action stations and carving stations as needed. Responsible for cleanliness and organization of buffet areas while ensuring food safety by maintaining proper food temps. Will have guest interaction; must have great customer service skills.

Bullfrogs Bar & Grille


Most important person in the restaurant! You set the tone for the dine-in experience. Responsible for Welcoming all guests as they arrive. Escort and seat guests at appropriate table. Ensure all guests are Thanked upon departure.

Must be available to work weekends and Holidays.

Line Cook

Must have previous experience in a 'la carte or quick service restaurant operation. Ability to saute, fry, grill, steam a variety of foods per order ticket, follow recipes and able to rotate product. Willing to learn and follow proper open/close procedures. Must have cleanliness, organizational and great communication skills, ability to work well with others, be reliable and dependable. Available all shifts to include weekends and holidays.

Barn Attendant

Barn Attendant must be able to perform farm maintenance chores to include: drive tractor, fence mending, drag horse arena, etc.; Must be able to lift 50-60 lb. hay bales/feed bags, etc. Basic horsemanship skills preferred but not necessary. Customer Service skills a plus!! Teaching credentials or qualified to teach also a plus!!

Consultant - Retail Coordinator

Responsible to assist with Merchandise Buying, Store Set-up, Pricing and Visual Merchandising of shelves, displays and store windows for retail locations throughout the resort. Will also have some General Oversight responsibilities for retail locations throughout the resort. Knowledge of merchandising, displays, buying, trends and the ability to identify best vendors and product.

Must be able to work when needed - flexible schedules to include weekends (similar to On-Call)
Must have retail management experience
Experience must be in a high-end retail or retail boutique environment

HR Admin Clerk

Responsible for filing, copying and assisting with clerical admin duties to include Benefits, Workers Comp, Recruitment, Training and special projects as needed. May involve some Saturdays and Evenings as needed for Job Fairs, Training, etc.

Harbor Landing

Dock Hand Attendant

Ability to assist in the general maintenance and up keep of the harbor boat fleet, assist guests in the operation of the boat fleet. Must be courteous, cheerful and possess effective communications skills. Have some knowledge and experience with boating in order to be effectively informative when assisting guests. Willingness to clean boats, remove trash and  maintain docks; ensure daily proper inspection of all boats for cleanliness and properly operational. Ability to work in outdoor weather and around bees; ability to lift 50lbs and ability to swim required.

Boat Captain

Operate group boats and other boats as requested for guests of Lake Lanier Islands Resort. Assist dock staff with up keep on boats by informing the Harbor Manager. Must have a valid 100 Ton Masters License from USCG, previous captain experience. Great guest services experience is required.

Spa, Tranquility

Massage Therapist

Must possess excellent communication skills and provide product knowledge, administer professional massages and body treatments to our clients. Ability to maintain spa appearance and cleanliness while upholding to our standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and follow policies and procedures. Must hold and maintain a current state license. Be proficient in various body work techniques and modalities and have knowledge of physiology. Ability to promote and up-sell products and services.

Retail Administration

Resort Decorator

The Resort Decorator will be responsible to enhance the function, safety and aesthetics of the resort’s interior and exterior spaces while taking into account how different colors, textures, furniture, lighting and space work together to meet occupants' or visitors' needs. Will work with both private and public spaces including Lobby areas, Restaurants, Event space, Offices and Show rooms.

Must have experience working in a large scale setting. Job/Shift times will vary and all are dependent upon the seasonal needs of the resort.

Must be able to supply references and a portfolio overview showcasing previous work in the field.
