Garde Manger

Previous experience required. Knowledge of Food Safety and the ability to prepare all the components of cold appetizers, ranging from salads to cheese plates, cold Hors D'oeuvres, cold sandwiches and present them wonderfully. Excellent knife skills and should be an expert in dicing, carving and chopping; able to do simple carvings and garnishes. Work in coordination with other line cooks, be a team player. Banquet Cook

Prepare guest food in accordance to department standards. Server

Must have previous experience in fast paced full-service restaurants with POS systems; MICROS preferred. Cleanliness and organizational skills, reliable and dependable, great communication and interpersonal skills. Primary responsibility to produce breakfast buffet and a'la carte items. Will assist in lunch and banquet production, cold prep and work omelet stations in Window restaurant and on banquet and holiday buffets. Cafeteria Attendant

Prepare and serve employee meals in accordance to department standards. Responsible for the service of the employee dining room, set-up for daily use, monitor food temperatures, employee activity, etc. Set-up includes beverage machine, desserts, cold and hot foods, plasticware, napkins and condiments. Must maintain the cafeteria area sanitary; ensuring tables, food areas, chairs and floors are clean. Must be available Mon-Sun, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Depending on scheduling needs. Previous full service kitchen experience required - minimum 2 years.

House Person

Assist Room Attendants in the cleaning of guest rooms and hallways, able to vacuum/mop, empty trash bins, stocking/organizing storage closets, replenish linens, assist in laundry area. Common Area Attendant

Maintain cleanliness in public areas to include designated office spaces, retail shops within the lodge. Assure all restrooms are clean and in sanitary conditions. Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience in a hotel/resort required, must have excellent communication skills and guest service skills. Night Auditor

Previous knowledge and experience in completing balances and files, night audit reports on the various areas of the hotel, provide accurate, timely information in accordance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures. Assist the Front Office Manager by overseeing the responsibilities of the Front Desk and Front Office staff and to ensure that the guests are being serviced in a professional and competent manner. Must be personable, outgoing, work well under pressure, and customer service oriented. Related experience in a Hotel Front Desk and/or Accounting background and familiarity with hospitality industry practices highly preferred. Previous supervisory experience required. 3rd Shift availability.

Assistant Director of Recreation Operations

To assist with managing the overall operation of Lanier World on a daily basis (including aquatics, admissions, harbor, equestrian, retail and all other entertainment/recreational venues). Finance

Director Of Purchasing

The Director of Purchasing coordinates and manages all purchasing and supply functions to ensure the success and profitability of the resort. Establishes and manages all systems for procurement including e-procurement, bid solicitation, price auditing, sourcing, inventory control, and standard purchase specifications and contract negotiations. Provides administrative oversight of the employees of the Purchasing Department including hiring, scheduling, training and corrective action.

Marketing

Social Media & Digital Assets Coordinator

The Social Media & Digital Assets Coordinator will coordinate the intern schedule and assignments and is also required to attend daily marketing meetings and weekly operations meetings that evaluate all resort promotional opportunities. This position will also utilize social media marketing techniques to increase online traffic, brand awareness & on-site business as well as other marketing activities as assigned by manager. This position must understand the need for expediency of information flow across the company. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining all digital assets and keeping them updated, as well as monitoring and updating the digital signage across the resort. This Coordinator will constantly evaluate the timeliness of the resort’s messaging on the on-site electronic signage. This position will assist in creating the content for the signage and must maintain effective communication across all parts of the resort in order to make best use of our digital assets.

Specific Requirements of this position include: experience with Adobe Suite, Digital Assets experience, Social Media skills and previous work with signage/display systems is a plus! ** Some weekend, evening and Holiday availability will be required as needed **
 

Islands Clean-up

Manager

Responsible for oversight of the department tasked with general clean-up of the Resort both inside and outside of the grounds. Department and individual responsibilities to include: cleaning of offices throughout the resort, cleaning of restrooms, stocking of supplies, cleaning walks and cleaning of grounds, pavilions and the roadways of the islands. General pest removal which includes spraying of bees, wasps and ants. Weekend and Holiday availability is required. Must Be 18 Years Of Age With a Clean Driving Record

Engineering

Engineer - Hotel (Night)

Provides a diverse range of duties involved in guest related maintenance issues and day-to-day operations of the resort. Will be responsible to complete repairs to guest rooms, facilities, and other resort related equipment. Basic maintenance, repair, of plumbing systems. Conduct electrical maintenance, repair and install electrical equipment and systems throughout the resort to ensure safe and proper operation. Monitor, maintain, repair and carry out preventative maintenance programs on resort heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Maintenance of resort pools to include chemical check. Painting knowledge/experience preferred. Guest service oriented. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. As a Supervisor you are responsible to ensure your team works together to enhance the overall guest experience. Sidney's Restaurant

Buffet Attendant

Responsible for serving food to guest from buffet or serving at table, set-up and breakdown buffet. Able to replenish foods as needed, care and maintenance of line, chafing dishes and tableware. Must have great guest service skills and provide great service to our standards with a smile. Previous serving experience preferred, must be at least 18 years of age.

Hostess

Exceptional guest service skills, pleasant and with good communication skills. Must have organizational and cleanliness skills. Able to maintain service counts, reports and assist service staff as needed. Prior experience preferred. Weekends and holidays availability required.

Prep Cook

Will assist in the production of Windows and Banquet buffet foods. Focus on proper presentation, garnishing and freshness. Assist in daily buffet by working action stations and carving stations as needed. Bartender

Must be at least 21 years of age with previous bartending experience in a fast paced full-service restaurant and work well under pressure. Basic mathematics and POS systems knowledge. Great guest service, cleanliness and organizational skills, must be reliable and dependable and have excellent interpersonal skills. Must have flexible schedule availability as shift times vary, weekends and holidays availability is required. Approx. employment months: March - October.

Cook

Previous fast food operation or short order cook 1+ years experience. Able to work outdoors in summer elements and work well with others. Must have great communication, organizational and cleanliness skills. Must be available weekends and holidays.

F&B Attendant

Must have a friendly, out-going demeanor, ability to greet guest in professional manner; exceptional customer service experience is required. Must have organizational and cleanliness skills and ability to handle cash register; experience preferred. Ability to prep concession areas. Attendant

Commissary Cook

Responsible to prepare bulk foods and sauces for large volume dining. Previous hotel experience in prep and banquets or equivalent high volume restaurant experience. Auditor

Must have previous experience in high volume cash accounting situation, at minimum heavy high volume cashier experience. Attention to detail and organizational skills is a must. Ability to walk the park, assisting cashiers as needed and must have a high tolerance to outdoor weather elements and stand for long periods of time. Shift times vary, weekends and holidays required. 

Common Area Attendant

Responsible for the cleanliness of Lanier World public restrooms. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs and work outdoors, exposed to summer weather elements and able to stand/walk for long periods of time.

Lifeguard

Must pay for and pass the Jeff Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program administered by LLI. Training and testing consists of physical and written ability and knowledge. Must be able to work outdoors, exposed to summer weather elements and able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Ability to demonstrate maturity during training, during shifts and demonstrate ability to stay calm under pressure.

Entertainer / Carnival Operator

Leads games and activities with guests throughout the park. Will perform as Bucky (mascot) as needed. Will operate carnival attractions owned by Islands Management Company. Previous entertainment experience preferred or similar background. Must be at least 18 years of age ** Weekend and Holiday availability required **

Bell Stand Attendant

Responsible to escort arriving and departing Guests in a friendly, courteous manner to and from their accommodations, transporting their luggage.  Acquaint each Guest with room and features. Essential Duties to include the following: Meet and greet Guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome; Retrieve Guest items from their transportation vehicle; Drive/Operate hotel vehicles; Escort Guests to accommodations, inspecting room and reporting deficiencies; Assist Concierge with Golf Cart rentals, inspections, retrieval, etc. and Deliver packages to guests from shipping/receiving department.

Massage Therapist

Must possess excellent communication skills and provide product knowledge, administer professional massages and body treatments to our clients. Ability to maintain spa appearance and cleanliness while upholding to our standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and follow policies and procedures. Must hold and maintain a current state license. Be proficient in various body work techniques and modalities and have knowledge of physiology. Ability to promote and up-sell products and services.
