Lanier World/Snow World

Assistant Manager

Assist in the overall daily management & operation of Lanier World during season and Snow World during season. To insure a positive work environment for associates and a safe, pleasant recreational experience for Guests. Previous supervisory/management skills required. Available weekends and holidays. Must be hands-on, very detailed, able to be flexible to changing needs, have great communication skills and possess exceptional guest service skills.

Windows Restaurant

Server

Must have previous experience in fast paced full-service restaurants with POS systems; MICROS preferred. Cleanliness and organizational skills, reliable and dependable, great communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs., replenish condiments as necessary and reset tables as needed.  Available to work weekends and holidays. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE. Cook

Primary responsibility to produce breakfast buffet and a'la carte items. Will assist in lunch and banquet production, cold prep and work omelet stations in Window restaurant and on banquet and holiday buffets. Must be familiar with dry and moist cooking methods; presentation of hot foods. Able to read written instructions, able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Available every weekday, every shift to include weekends and holidays.

Housekeeping

House Person

Assist Room Attendants in the cleaning of guest rooms and hallways, able to vacuum/mop, empty trash bins, stocking/organizing storage closets, replenish linens, assist in laundry area. Must have great guest service skills. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Previous related experience/training required. Weekends and holidays availability required.

Common Area Attendant

Maintain cleanliness in public areas to include designated office spaces, retail shops within the lodge. Assure all restrooms are clean and in sanitary conditions. Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience in a hotel/resort required, must have excellent communication skills and guest service skills. Availability to work all shifts, to include weekends and holidays. 

Supervisor

Assist in the day-to-day operations within the department. Ensure all areas are maintained up to standards. Assistance with scheduling, payroll, administrative duties, etc. Previous hotel experience required. Bilingual preferred; Spanish and English. All shifts and weekend availability required.

Reservations Agent

Must have excellent communication, phone etiquette and guest service skills. Previous OPERA knowledge highly preferred with experience in making reservations and staying well informed of all resort amenities, must have organizational and time management skills.  Must be willing to cross-train in other areas of the Front Office. Shift times primarily evenings and most weekends, holidays availability is required.

Wedding Sales

Wedding Sales Specialist

Responsible for the sales, management and servicing of social catering functions. Previous hotel/resort Catering Sales experience at a full-service hotel required. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, work effectively and be goal oriented. Increase business and revenue by aggressive sales techniques, prompt follow-up, consistently evaluating the profitability of business, maximize F&B revenues and room rental. Superior guest service skills needed. Proficient in Word, Internet and other computer programs; Delphi knowledge preferred.

Hotel Sales

Telemarketer

Solicit group sales leads from qualified prospecting resources utilizing established sales scripts and fact sheets. Previous experience preferred; Outbound Telemarketing/Phone Sales experience. Must be persuasive and have a strong Sales background. Must be friendly, self motivated, energetic and detail oriented. Must be a team player and have ability to work with little supervision. Ability to communicate and work well with others. Well spoken professional demeanor over the phone. Strong Drive and Initiative and must be dependable. Proficient in Word, Internet and other computer programs.

Small Meetings Sales Manager

To generate revenue for Lake Lanier Islands via small meetings with overnight stays, day-meetings, family reunions, tour & travel groups and "rooms only" blocks affiliated with other islands activities. Duties to include: Conduct ongoing market research in order to stay in touch with the competition, client needs and marketing conditions; Design packages consistent with the market needs; Solicitation / creation of new sales leads, cold calling & direct mail; Solicitation of repeat group business.  Must have 2-3 years Hotel Group Sales experience.  Limited weekend hours based upon client needs

Corporate Sales Sales Manager

Successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years hotel group sales experience in an upscale or resort environment. Responsible for aggressively developing and heavily prospecting potential new business; ability to build long-term client relationships. Strong prospecting and closing skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, Delphi or similar hotel sales software desired. Strong organization and detailing skills. Minimum of one day outside sales calls per week. Experience in the catering and conference services market a plus. Experience with the Corporate Group Sales market preferred.

Wastewater Treatment Plant

Treatment Operator

Under general supervision, performs technical work; performing preventive maintenance and reading various gauges and meters, collecting lab samples, and performing required analysis and tests. Requires working in varying temperatures. Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time. Must have flexibility with repetitive hand movements. Must comply with all company and department regulations. Must be able to perform strenuous work in dusty, wet, hot and dry environments.

LIne Cook

Must have previous experience in a 'la carte or quick service restaurant operation. Ability to saute, fry, grill, steam a variety of foods, follow recipes and able to rotate product. Willing to learn and follow proper open/close procdures. Must have cleanliness, organizational and great communication skills, ability to work well with others, be reliable and dependable. Available all shifts to include weekends and holidays.

Supervisor

Help oversee the day-to-day operation of Bullfrogs.  Serve guest in Bullfrogs in a professional and friendly manner while attending to their needs promptly and courteously to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist with Budget, accounting, operating procedures, rules and regulations, and overseeing the server staff. Attend to guest at their table or the counter, informing them of daily specials, taking orders, serving food, clearing tables and preparing their bill. Abide by all state, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Cold Prep Cook

Previous experience required. Ability to prepare all the components of cold appetizers, ranging from salads to cheese plates and present them wonderfully. Excellent knife skills and should be an expert in dicing, carving and chopping; able to do simple carvings and garnishes. Work in coordination with other line cooks, be a team player. Must be well organized with great presentation and sanitation skills. Available to work weekends and holidays.

Conference Services

Conference Services Manager

Coordinate services for groups and events across the Islands. Will meet with clients on a daily basis to ensure the successful execution of event and to upsell products/services. Prepare and distribute BEO's and Sales Resumes. Must be able to keep detailed records and have strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.

Marketing

Marketing & PR Manager

Responsible for the design/production of marketing materials, designing print ads, creation of monthly e-blasts, the writing of press releases and other marketing related content. Assists with media buying and scheduling. Plan & facilitate on-site photo shoots. Will maintain the resort events calendar and will complete reports using MS Excel to track advertising expenses. Must be proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. Must be flexible in scheduling to include some weekends, evenings and holidays.

Barista (Coffee Attendant)

Maintain a presentable retail outlet, including the food and beverage aspect. Provide friendly service; must have exceptional guest service experience. Ability to restock merchandise as needed, maintain accurate inventory and communicate well with staff and supervisor. Previous Barista experience required. Server Assistant (Busser)

Assist the Servers with pre-bussing, drink refills, delivering food, cleaning and re-setting tables. Available to work all days/shifts, able to work weekends and holidays. Some heavy lifting/carrying required up to 75 lbs.

Security Officer

Previous security detail experience is required. Must have great guest services skills, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to complete daily status reports, guest incident and employee incident reports. Must have a valid driver's license with good driving history. Windows Restaurant

Prep Cook

Will assist in the production of Windows and Banquet buffet foods. Focus on proper presentation, garnishing and freshness. Assist in daily buffet by working action stations and carving stations as needed. Responsible for cleanliness and organization of buffet areas while ensuring food safety by maintaining proper food temps. Will have guest interaction; must have great customer service skills.

Expeditor

As an Expeditor, you will be responsible for coordination and consolidation of all outgoing food items from the kitchen assuring high standards of plate presentation and food quality. Duties of this position will include set up of work station, putting orders together with a sense of urgency, making sure all plates are properly garnished, and maintaining a clean work area. A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, able to lift 15-30 pounds, stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length.

Steward

Must have cleanliness and organizational skills, must be reliable and dependable. Previous experience preferred, able to work in fast-paced restaurant. Wash dishes, clean dinning room, assist servers with bussing tables. Maintain restaurant inside and outside.  Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Snow World

Snow Machine Operator

Daily operation and maintenance of blowing snow in to the play areas. Must have basic mechanical skills and general maintenance skills. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. Must have a valid driver's license with good driving history. Weekends and holidays availability required.

F&B Attendant

Must have a friendly, out-going demeanor, ability to greet guest in professional manner; exceptional customer service experience is required. Must have organizational and cleanliness skills and ability to handle cash register; experience preferred. Ability to prep concession areas. Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and multi-task while safely completing duties as assigned. Shift times vary; weekends and holiday required. Employment duration: Nov - Feb.

Boat Captain

Operate group boats and other boats as requested for guests of Lake Lanier Islands Resort. Assist dock staff with up keep on boats by informing the Harbor Manager. Must have a valid 100 Ton Masters License from USCG, previous captain experience. Great guest services experience is required.
