Maintenance

LanierWorld Maintenance Manager

Maintain LanierWorld property, equipment, attractions, and pools functioning and in good repair. Keep the premises presentable and safe by performing the tasks of the maintenance department in LanierWorld. Must possess skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, 3 phase motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics and basic carpentry. Knowledge of pools, water flow, water attractions, water quality, general and grounds maintenance.  Must be able to work in outdoor conditions, walk regularly and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Able to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Also 24-hour on-call status in case of emergency.

Marketing

Digital Assets Manager

Responsible for the production, composition and storage or Islands digital assets to include but not limited to; video, photography, motion graphics, static content, logos, etc. May also have limited responsibility for creative design. Ability to maintain, update and categorize all digital assets as well as ensure they are easily accessible. Must have experience working with digital assets, relevant computer skills, including fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut & Premier. Must have a great eye for composition including lenses, color, shapes, patterns and lines as well negative space. Previous experience working with creative and marketing department required.

Security Officer

Previous security detail experience is required. Must have great guest services skills, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to complete daily status reports, guest incident and employee incident reports. Weekends and holidays availability required. Must be available all shifts.Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with good driving history. Shift times vary.

Housekeeping

House Person

Assist Room Attendants in the cleaning of guest rooms and hallways, able to vacuum/mop, empty trash bins, stocking/organizing storage closets, replenish linens, assist in laundry area. Must have great guest service skills. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Previous related experience/training required. Weekends and holidays availability required.

Room Attendant

Previous housekeeping experience with ability to follow housekeeping procedures clean guest rooms/houses/villas assigned and within our standards. Maintain storage areas organized. Must be able to clean and finish assigned areas within daily scheduled shift, must have great customer service skills. Available to work all shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Special Projects Attendant

Maintains all special projects, operates powered equipment and small hand tools. Attendant will work independently on daily assignments as directed by department head.

Concierge

Provide Exceptional guest service responding to all group and fit guest needs promptly and courteously. Be knowledgeable about all Front Office and Guest Services standard operating procedures. Maintain good working relationships and open lines of communication with all departments. Maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any problems or complaints are handled quickly, efficiently and courteously. Extensive Guest Services experience required. Weekend and holiday availability required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a clean driving record.

Front Desk Agent

Must have excellent communication and guest service skills. Previous experience with check-in/out, cash handling and billing procedures. Must be willing to cross-train in other areas of the Front Office, ability to stand for long periods of time. Previous OPERA knowledge preferred. Available weekends and holidays.

Night Auditor

Previous knowledge and experience in completing balances and files, night audit reports on the various areas of the hotel, provide accurate, timely information in accordance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures. Assist the Front Office Manager by overseeing the responsibilities of the Front Desk and Front Office staff and to ensure that the guests are being serviced in a professional and competent manner. Must be personable, outgoing, work well under pressure, and customer service oriented. Related experience in a Hotel Front Desk and/or Accounting background and familiarity with hospitality industry practices highly preferred. Previous supervisory experience required. 3rd Shift availability.

Sales Manager

Successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years hotel group sales experience in an upscale or resort environment. Responsible for aggressively developing and heavily prospecting potential new business; ability to build long-term client relationships. Strong prospecting and closing skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, Delphi or similar hotel sales software desired. Strong organization and detailing skills. Minimum of one day outside sales calls per week. Experience in the catering and conference services market a plus. Experience with the Corporate Group Sales market preferred.

Office Clerk/Receptionist

Must have Administrative Skills; answering multiple phone lines, greet guests, filing. Gather information, create reports and presentations. Must be efficient in Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point. Able to handle multiple tasks at once, must be super-organized, self-starter and maintain a high-level of confidentiality. Able to assist with clerical admin duties to include Benefits, Workers Comp, Recruitment, Training and special projects as needed.

Maintenance

Plumber - Licensed

To maintain, repair and install plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment to ensure proper and safe operations throughout the 1500 acre resort. Responsible for ordering and managing resort plumbing supply stock. Assist with contractor request for temporary water supplies or shutting off of water, steam and gas supplies. ** Must have 3 year clean driving record **

Painter

To prepare maintain and repair painted; wall covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structure, furniture and equipment throughout the facility. using proper application techniques and various products. Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces throughout the facility. Maintain and repair caulked, grouted and masonry surfaces throughout the facility. Prepare and maintain wood surfaces requiring staining, varnishing or lacquering. Previous commercial/residential experience a must. Ability to drive company vehicles (minimum of 21 years of age); must have a valid driver's license with good driving history. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Weekend availability required.

Islands Clean-up

Islands Clean-up Attendant

Responsible for general clean-up of the Resort both inside and outside of the grounds. Responsibilities to include: cleaning of offices throughout the resort, cleaning of restrooms, stocking of supplies, cleaning walks and cleaning of grounds, pavilions and the roadways of the islands. General pest removal which includes spraying of bees, wasps and ants. Weekend and Holiday availability is requiredShift times vary. Must Be At Least 18 Years Of Age With a Clean Driving Record.

Essential Duties to include the following: Meet and greet Guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome; Retrieve Guest items from their transportation vehicle; Drive/Operate hotel vehicles; Escort Guests to accommodations, inspecting room and reporting deficiencies; Assist Concierge with Golf Cart rentals, inspections, retrieval, etc. and Deliver packages to guests from shipping/receiving department.  **Must be 18 years of age with clean 3 year driving record**

Engineering

Engineer (Lake House/Villas)

Provides a diverse range of duties involved in guest related maintenance issues and day-to-day operations within the Lake Houses and Villas. Will be responsible to complete repairs within guest rooms, and other resort related equipment. Basic maintenance, repair, of plumbing systems. Conduct electrical maintenance, repair and install electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe and proper operation. Monitor, maintain, repair and carry out preventative maintenance programs on resort heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Basic carpentry skills a plus. Drywall Repair and Painting knowledge/experience preferred. Must have own basic tools to perform tasks. Guest service oriented. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Weekend availability required.

Expeditor

As an Expeditor, you will be responsible for coordination and consolidation of all outgoing food items from the kitchen assuring high standards of plate presentation and food quality. Duties of this position will include set up of work station, putting orders together with a sense of urgency, making sure all plates are properly garnished, and maintaining a clean work area. A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, able to lift 15-30 pounds, stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length.

Massage Therapist

Must possess excellent communication skills and provide product knowledge, administer professional massages and body treatments to our clients. Ability to maintain spa appearance and cleanliness while upholding to our standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and follow policies and procedures. Must hold and maintain a current state license. Be proficient in various body work techniques and modalities and have knowledge of physiology. Ability to promote and up-sell products and services.
